The complete Shopify fulfillment guide for European brands

How to pick a 3PL that plugs into Shopify without custom development — including SLAs to insist on and red flags to avoid.

What 'native Shopify integration' actually means

Not all Shopify integrations are equal. A native integration should push tracking numbers back in real-time, respect Shopify locations, and handle multi-currency SKUs. Beware of providers using generic middleware — you'll hit sync issues at scale.

Response-time SLAs to insist on

Your 3PL should commit to shipping same-day for orders placed before a documented cut-off and respond to support tickets within 4 business hours. Anything slower will show up in your reviews.

Red flags in the sales process

If a provider can't share reference customers on your platform, can't produce a signed SLA template, or gates pricing behind long calls — walk away.
